Simon is a Professor of Computer Science working on complex adaptive systems, in particular on epidemic and other processes over networks, and on the analysis and interpretation of sensor data. He’s been in St Andrews since late 2009, having previously worked at universities in Ireland, at Harwell, and as the founder of a start-up company.​
